In 1984 Charleston was created by Richard Strefling to manufacture fiberglass components to convert Firebirds and Camaros into convertibles. Charleston then proceeded into the van conversion business. In 1997 vac-forming machines were added to produce ABS parts to meet the demands of our growing customer base, and this portion of the business has grown significantly. Although Charleston is no longer participating in van conversions, our customer base has grown to include recreational vehicle, aftermarket vehicle, and boat industry components. Having one of the largest 5 Axis CNC machines in the area, Charleston has the capability to custom design the tooling needed for both custom fiberglass and ABS parts. Charleston Corporation's goal is to provide a high-quality product along with exceptional customer service. We are located on the outskirts of Bremen, Indiana and employ approximately 100 people.
